Electrical & Instrumentation Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical maintenance services including work with motors, breakers, starters, and switchgear
• Provide instrumentation maintenance services including troubleshooting, configuration, installation, and commissioning of valves and instrumentation
• Execute planned preventive, predictive, and reliability-centered maintenance programs
• Maintain instrument as-built documentation and electrical P&IDs
• Manage ISO and critical instrument calibration and maintenance tools
• Comply with OSHA PSM regulations and participate in the plant’s Process Safety Management team
• Adhere to all HSE policies, procedures, and Behavior Based Safety Programs

Requirements

• High school diploma
• 5+ years of plant maintenance experience in industrial instrumentation
• Proven experience in configuration, calibration, installation, and troubleshooting
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders, and working in non-standard positions
• Ability to work in environments requiring respirators, tank entry, or line breaks

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree from a technical school or community college with an emphasis in instrumentation
• Experience with PLC, DCS, and process instrumentation
• Valid state Journeyman's license
• Familiarity with Safe Work Permit systems
