Electrical & Instrumentation Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical and instrumentation repairs on equipment at a world-scale corn milling facility
• Maintain a heavy emphasis on safety and maintenance reliability
• Work rotating shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Participate in on-the-job training for safety, food safety, quality, and environmental standards
• Operate equipment such as forklifts, JLG, and reach lifts as required

Requirements

• Training in electrical and/or instrumentation work
• Direct industrial maintenance experience or high exposure to industrial maintenance
• Proficiency with computers
• Familiarity with 3-phase electrical systems and NEC code requirements
• Ability to work rotating shifts and perform call-in duties
• Must be 18 years or older and eligible to work in the United States
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and traverse long distances on a work site
• Ability to work in non-air-conditioned environments with exposure to dust and varying temperatures

Preferred Qualifications

• PLC and industrial controls experience
• Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)
• Completion of ABC schooling or an apprenticeship
• Knowledge of the ADM-Clinton plant
