Electrical & Instrumentation Principal Engineer

Responsibilities

• Assess market opportunities and technical feasibility for E&I, commissioning, and process safety service offerings
• Design and develop technical service methodologies, inspection protocols, and project delivery standards
• Lead technical delivery for E&I commissioning, quality assurance, internal audits, and factory start-up assignments
• Provide senior technical review of E&I design, installation, testing, and compliance documentation
• Evaluate E&I system readiness including power distribution, PLC/SCADA/DCS interfaces, and instrumentation loops
• Identify technical gaps, non-conformities, and risks, providing practical recommendations for closure
• Collaborate with customers, contractors, and OEMs to resolve technical issues and maintain project progress
• Support proposal development and technical advisory discussions for business development

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation & Control, Mechatronics, or Automation Engineering
• Professional Engineer (Ir.) registration is required or strongly preferred
• Minimum 15 years of experience in commissioning, QA, inspection, or plant set-up for E&E and semiconductor environments
• Strong expertise in E&I design review, FAT, SAT, and compliance review
• Experience in semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing and cleanroom facility systems
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and mentor engineers
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 75% of the time to customer sites and manufacturing facilities
