About the role
Responsibilities
- Support commissioning and start-up activities for industrial capital projects
- Apply safety standards, high-voltage safety practices, and commissioning procedures
- Support the development of electrical construction packages and commissioning strategies
- Assist in planning and coordinating FATs, equipment acceptance testing, and functional testing
- Develop understanding of high-voltage energy isolation procedures (HVEIC), switching, and removal of isolations
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and standardized work processes
- Assist in training and mentoring activities within competency programs
Requirements
- Electrical Engineering degree
- Minimum of 5 years of high voltage electrical field, design, and engineering experience
- Proven experience with electrical construction management, inspection, and acceptance testing
- Experience with instrument construction management, loop checking, and controls commissioning
- Ability to travel approximately 35-60% to active sites and projects
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and technical learning
