About the role

Responsibilities

  • Support commissioning and start-up activities for industrial capital projects
  • Apply safety standards, high-voltage safety practices, and commissioning procedures
  • Support the development of electrical construction packages and commissioning strategies
  • Assist in planning and coordinating FATs, equipment acceptance testing, and functional testing
  • Develop understanding of high-voltage energy isolation procedures (HVEIC), switching, and removal of isolations
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and standardized work processes
  • Assist in training and mentoring activities within competency programs

Requirements

  • Electrical Engineering degree
  • Minimum of 5 years of high voltage electrical field, design, and engineering experience
  • Proven experience with electrical construction management, inspection, and acceptance testing
  • Experience with instrument construction management, loop checking, and controls commissioning
  • Ability to travel approximately 35-60% to active sites and projects
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality, and technical learning
