Electrical/Instrument Technician

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve plant equipment and systems, including LV electrical distribution and process control
• Perform planned preventative maintenance and fault finding on boilers, compressors, HVAC, and utilities
• Support capital projects, including installation and commissioning activities
• Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and legislative standards
• Drive continuous improvement across asset care, reliability, and productivity
• Support operators and use system data to help optimize site operations

Requirements

• Time-served Electrical or Controls/Instrumentation engineer
• Experience working within a manufacturing environment
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and instrumentation
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and P&IDs
• Proficiency with SAP maintenance systems
• Commitment to safe systems of work

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to PCS7
• Experience with functional safety systems
• Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies
