Electrical Instructor

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, hands-on instruction in both classroom and lab settings
• Support student growth through mentoring, regular feedback, and individualized success planning
• Ensure curriculum stays current and aligned with real industry expectations
• Partner with fellow instructors, administrators, and industry leaders to maintain a high-quality learning experience
• Lead by example in professionalism, safety, and workplace readiness
• Participate in program development, accreditation efforts, and employer advisory committees

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current Journeyman or Master Electrician license
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
• Proficiency with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.)
• Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Canvas learning management system
• Experience in curriculum development
