Electrical Inspector

Responsibilities

• Execute electrical and instrumentation (E&I) inspections in industrial projects
• Issue technical reports, release notes, and quality follow-ups
• Ensure technical conformity, quality, and regulatory compliance of electrical systems and equipment
• Perform inspections at sites and manufacturing workshops as a technical representative
• Conduct inspections of finished products, including dimensional, welding, and painting inspections
• Participate in FAT, SAT, and walkdowns

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical, Electromechanical, Electronic, Instrumentation Engineering, or equivalent technical career
• 2 to 4 years of experience as an Electrical Inspector
• Proficiency in electrical and instrumentation (E&I) inspection for industrial projects
• Experience in QA/QC during construction, manufacturing, or assembly
• Knowledge of NEC, NFPA, NOM-STPS, and NOM-SEDE standards
• Ability to interpret single-line diagrams, electrical layouts, and instrumentation diagrams
• Intermediate to Advanced English proficiency

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of IEC and IEEE standards
• Experience with client standards such as CFE or PEMEX
• Training in low and medium voltage power systems
• Expertise in grounding systems and lightning protection
