Electrical Inspector

Responsibilities

• Supervise construction works to ensure compliance with project specifications, contract requirements, and health and safety standards
• Conduct regular site inspections, measurements, and testing to verify quality standards and performance requirements
• Monitor and document the Contractor’s deployed manpower, plant, equipment, and construction methods
• Witness and inspect testing and commissioning works as per project specifications
• Review project contract documents, including drawings and specifications, to ensure full understanding of requirements
• Monitor the delivery of construction materials to ensure they comply with project standards
• Implement and follow all site instructions issued by the Engineer and adhere to quality management procedures
• Maintain daily records of site activities and report any QHSE incidents immediately

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering
• Minimum 10 years of experience in construction supervision, specifically within a consultancy environment
• Strong technical competence in electrical engineering and construction techniques
• Knowledge of CAD standards and 3D working
• Understanding of concept design, buildability, and risk assessment
