Electrical Harness Integration Engineer

Responsibilities

• Guarantee harness design and routing integration within different products by adhering to design rules and industry norms
• Ensure electrical harness designs meet meticulous standards and specifications
• Follow the Alstom development process (Design for Quality - DFQ)
• Realize project deliverables respecting Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) standards
• Integrate requirements for Advanced Industrialization, EMC, and Maintainability
• Build 3D models of harnesses alongside mechanical and manufacturing engineers
• Manage detailed design work including BoM kits, wiring lists, Plug Maps, and instruction sheets
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Design, Quality Assurance, and Manufacturing

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronic, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering
• Proven track record in a similar electrical engineering role
• Advanced proficiency in CATIA V5 or SolidWorks
• Familiarity with harness design and routing integration processes
• Knowledge of industry norms and standards related to electrical systems
• Strong communication skills in English and Spanish
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
