About the role
Responsibilities
- Guarantee harness design and routing integration within different products by adhering to design rules and industry norms
- Ensure electrical harness designs meet meticulous standards and specifications
- Follow the Alstom development process (Design for Quality - DFQ)
- Realize project deliverables respecting Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) standards
- Integrate requirements for Advanced Industrialization, EMC, and Maintainability
- Build 3D models of harnesses alongside mechanical and manufacturing engineers
- Manage detailed design work including BoM kits, wiring lists, Plug Maps, and instruction sheets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Design, Quality Assurance, and Manufacturing
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronic, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering
- Proven track record in a similar electrical engineering role
- Advanced proficiency in CATIA V5 or SolidWorks
- Familiarity with harness design and routing integration processes
- Knowledge of industry norms and standards related to electrical systems
- Strong communication skills in English and Spanish
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
