Electrical Harness Integration Engineer

Responsibilities

• Guarantee harness design and routing integration for products including traction systems, electrical cubicles, power modules, and switchgears
• Ensure all electrical harness designs meet Alstom's meticulous standards, specifications, and industry norms
• Follow the Alstom Design for Quality (DFQ) development process meticulously
• Build 3D models (routing) of each harness in collaboration with mechanical, manufacturing, and S&A designers
• Manage detailed electrical harness design deliverables including BoM kits, formboards, wiring lists, plug maps, and instruction sheets
• Integrate requirements related to industrialization, EMC, and maintainability
• Participate in harness design deliverable reviews and manage project activities using retro planning

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronic, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering
• Proven track record in a similar electrical integration or harness design role
• Advanced proficiency in CATIA V5 or SolidWorks
• Strong communication skills in both English and Spanish (written and spoken)
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and respond to changing project priorities
• Strong teamwork skills and high attention to detail regarding deadlines
