Electrical Hardware Engineer, HyperX

Responsibilities

• Manage the hardware design lifecycle from concept generation through product development to mass production
• Oversee hardware design and resolve technical issues with ODM partners to ensure HyperX quality standards
• Create and own system architecture, including the design and layout of PCBs and schematics
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Firmware, Software, Mechanical, and PM teams for seamless system integration
• Review full EE board files, including schematics, placement, layout, and Bill of Materials (BOM)
• Design and execute EE board test scenarios and experiments

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the consumer electronics industry
• Solid expertise in PCBA and electrical design
• Experience with DC/DC circuit design and USB interface standards
• Proficiency in battery power management and power consumption modeling
• Strong knowledge of PCB layout principles and design tools
• Experience designing for compliance certification in mass production

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with EMI, ESD, RF, and Antenna design
• Fluency in written and spoken English for global collaboration
• Experience working in multi-cultural environments
