Electrical Graduate Engineer

Responsibilities

• Assist with site engineering activities in line with project drawings, specifications, and HSEQ requirements
• Support the implementation of project quality, safety, and environmental management plans
• Assist with construction programming, procurement of electrical materials, and coordination of site activities
• Support commercial functions including subcontractor progress claims and monthly reporting
• Assist with the preparation of project progress claims, variations, and extensions of time
• Monitor daily site activities to support productivity, quality, and cost control
• Maintain accurate site records, including daily diaries, inspections, and documentation
• Participate in training and development initiatives as part of the BMD graduate program

Requirements

• Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering (recognised by Engineers Australia)
• A strong interest in site-based project delivery and infrastructure construction
• A safety-first mindset with an understanding of quality and environmental compliance
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• A proactive, practical approach and willingness to learn from experienced professionals
• The ability to manage priorities and maintain accurate records
