Electrical Field Foreman

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee on-site electrical construction activities to ensure compliance with project drawings, specifications, and safety standards
• Lead and mentor small on-site crews, ensuring efficient work practices and adherence to company policies
• Act as the primary liaison between the Construction Manager/Site Supervisor and the assigned work crew
• Submit daily progress reports, crew timesheets, and QA documentation to management
• Implement and support company on-site safety policies, including conducting tailboard meetings and equipment inspections
• Coordinate the efficient use of manpower, materials, tools, and equipment to meet project timelines
• Maintain high quality of workmanship and manage material organization and requests

Requirements

• Degree in Construction Management or a related field, or Journeyperson PSE/Electrician designation
• 5-7 years of experience in the construction industry
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to travel to various project sites as required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in medium to high-voltage substation construction
• Knowledge of various construction disciplines, safety regulations, and project scheduling
• Proficiency in cost and quality control and reading engineering drawings
