Electrical Field Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering efforts on EPC industrial projects, managing planning, scheduling, and field execution.
• Assist in the interpretation of drawings and specifications for field crews and craft supervision.
• Perform quantity calculations, material takeoffs, and prepare cost estimates.
• Prepare work plans, work packages, and Job Hazard Analysis (JHAs).
• Manage electrical procurement, track costs and materials, and schedule equipment.
• Partner with Superintendents and Field Engineers to provide mentoring and leadership within the electrical discipline.
• Ensure quality control and maintain exceptional owner relations.

Requirements

• Degree in Construction Management or a related field.
• At least 3 years of electrical construction experience.
• Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Knowledge of construction safety and current federal/OSHA requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to travel and relocate as required by project needs.
• Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with industry software such as SureTrak, Hard Dollar, Revit, SAP, Pro Log, or Primavera “P6”.
