About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead electrical engineering efforts on EPC industrial projects, managing planning, scheduling, and field execution.
- Assist in the interpretation of drawings and specifications for field crews and craft supervision.
- Perform quantity calculations, material takeoffs, and prepare cost estimates.
- Prepare work plans, work packages, and Job Hazard Analysis (JHAs).
- Manage electrical procurement, track costs and materials, and schedule equipment.
- Partner with Superintendents and Field Engineers to provide mentoring and leadership within the electrical discipline.
- Ensure quality control and maintain exceptional owner relations.
Requirements
- Degree in Construction Management or a related field.
- At least 3 years of electrical construction experience.
- Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Knowledge of construction safety and current federal/OSHA requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to travel and relocate as required by project needs.
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with industry software such as SureTrak, Hard Dollar, Revit, SAP, Pro Log, or Primavera “P6”.
