Electrical Field Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Assist in the interpretation of electrical drawings and specifications for field crews and craft supervision
• Perform quantity calculations, material takeoffs, and basic electrical engineering calculations
• Prepare work plans, work packages, and Job Hazard Analysis (JHAs)
• Supervise field operations and coordinate work groups on the jobsite
• Manage project documentation including RFIs, daily reports, as-built data, and change orders
• Support estimating efforts by reviewing plans, specifications, and historical data for bids
• Order and schedule material deliveries and assist in purchase order preparation
• Participate in jobsite safety reviews, toolbox meetings, and safety training

Requirements

• 2-3+ years of construction field experience
• Undergraduate degree in electrical engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to read, analyze, and identify discrepancies in engineering plans and contract documents
• Ability to travel and relocate as needed to meet project demands
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in various climates and access all points of a construction site
