Electrical Estimator

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates for major industrial projects locally and across Canada
• Develop comprehensive estimates for large and complex works
• Review owner plans, specifications, and tender documents to develop construction plans
• Coordinate with planning, scheduling, procurement, and proposal teams
• Determine installation quantities based on drawings and specifications
• Prepare and present estimates to management and external clients
• Collaborate on continuous improvement of estimating methods and processes
• Maintain professional relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or Technical Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Construction Management
• 5+ years of relevant experience in electrical estimating for major projects
• Excellent knowledge of the Canadian construction market
• Proficiency in MS Office and BlueBeam software
• Strong English communication skills (French is preferred)
• Willingness to travel to project sites or client meetings as required
• Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in industrial, hydro, oil and gas, or mining sectors
