Our iron-air battery production is underway at our high-volume manufacturing facility in West Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Develop novel solutions to challenging manufacturing problems
- Collaborate with process and controls engineers in the start-up and debugging effort for manufacturing equipment and processes
- Design, modify, and troubleshoot equipment
- Lead equipment specification and design reviews
- Champion safety standards within the facility
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, or related technical field (or equivalent industrial experience)
- 3+ years of experience supporting automated manufacturing equipment in a production environment
- Experience troubleshooting and programming PLC systems (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or equivalent)
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills including motors, drives, sensors, HMIs, and industrial controls
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, ladder logic, and technical documentation
- Experience working cross-functionally with maintenance and operations teams
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance, root cause analysis, and equipment reliability principles
