Our iron-air battery production is underway at our high-volume manufacturing facility in West Virginia.

Responsibilities

  • Develop novel solutions to challenging manufacturing problems
  • Collaborate with process and controls engineers in the start-up and debugging effort for manufacturing equipment and processes
  • Design, modify, and troubleshoot equipment
  • Lead equipment specification and design reviews
  • Champion safety standards within the facility

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, or related technical field (or equivalent industrial experience)
  • 3+ years of experience supporting automated manufacturing equipment in a production environment
  • Experience troubleshooting and programming PLC systems (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or equivalent)
  • Strong electrical troubleshooting skills including motors, drives, sensors, HMIs, and industrial controls
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, ladder logic, and technical documentation
  • Experience working cross-functionally with maintenance and operations teams
  • Knowledge of preventive maintenance, root cause analysis, and equipment reliability principles
