About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality detailed design packages and provide engineering procurement and field technical support
- Prepare conceptual engineering deliverables including cost estimates, statements of work, and design criteria
- Perform walkdowns in existing plant facilities to generate design documents and provide field support
- Prepare conduit/cable schedules, one-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, instrument loop diagrams, and construction specifications
- Develop control cabinet assembly drawings, system diagrams, and control logic for batch and continuous processes
- Utilize PLCs, HMIs, and distributed digital control systems for process control and monitoring
- Develop process control system narratives and provide input to P&IDs
Requirements
- B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of 10 years of electrical engineering experience
- More than 3 years of instrumentation and controls design engineering experience
- Demonstrated experience with National Electrical Code, UL508A, and ISA standards
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional Engineering License (PE)
- DOE Q-Clearance
