Electrical Engineering Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering and technician services to develop, plan, program, and execute FSRM projects
• Execute unscheduled work, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and enhancement work
• Manage minor repairs, building automation, controls, and material requisitioning
• Support administrative services, quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC), and correspondence
• Plan, organize, and lead studies, designs, and construction projects
• Record and manage processes and documentation
• Negotiate complex issues and maintain working relationships with management

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in electrical engineering equipment support (maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance)
• Extensive knowledge of electrical Building Code requirements
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Valid driver's license to navigate Dyess AFB

Preferred Qualifications

• Vocational or degreed post-high school education (Associate or Bachelor's degree)
• Degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, construction management, or building systems maintenance
