Electrical Engineering Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the electrical maintenance department
• Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and plant machinery
• Plan and execute electrical preventative maintenance (PM) work and dispatches using the L2L system
• Provide technical training and establish individual development plans for employees
• Plan and estimate electrical jobs, including determining procedures for modifications and repairs
• Identify electrical inefficiencies and coordinate with subordinates and contractors to resolve issues
• Maintain a safe work environment by complying with safety practices, inspections, and SQF guidelines

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• Working knowledge of electrical controls including PLCs, drives, motors, HMIs, and communication switches
• Experience troubleshooting 24 VDC, 120 AC, and 480 AC electrical circuits
• Proficiency in programming PLCs, frequency drives, and other controllers
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and edit AutoCAD drawings
• Capability to repair electrical equipment, solid state circuits, logic boards, and transducers
• Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively instruct and train others
