Electrical Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Act as an active contributor in product development while leading and developing a growing team of electrical engineers
• Help the team navigate design tradeoffs to ship industry-leading products
• Drive the team to hit program milestones and collaborate with cross-functional leaders to improve development efficiency
• Hire top-tier engineering talent and mentor them to reach their highest potential
• Influence product strategy and the holistic function of Hardware Engineering
• Scope electrical engineering work to focus on critical customer success drivers

Requirements

• Expertise in the design and production of complex electrical systems
• Proven experience shipping multiple products from initial concept through to production
• Working knowledge of embedded systems and code
• Ability to communicate fluidly across various technical domains
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to tie technical work to customer value
• Comfortable making decisions with incomplete information and solving problems in unfamiliar territory
