Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and update schematics and engineering drawings using CAD software
• Create and revise detail and assembly drawings from conceptual layouts and sketches
• Prepare lists of materials
• Work from verbal and written directions provided by engineering staff
• Research projects independently or consult with product developers to apply latest design technology

Requirements

• Associates degree in design/drafting or electrical design with 2+ years experience, or a Bachelors degree in a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of work experience as an Electrical Engineer
• US citizenship required due to government contract requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in electrical engineering drafting and drafting standards
• Experience with SolidWorks, SolidWorks Electrical, or AutoCAD
• Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers, low voltage electrical distribution, audiovisual, or telecommunications systems
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products
