Electrical Engineering Co-op/Intern

Responsibilities

• Update and document Computer-Aided Design (CAD) drawings of existing infrastructure
• Analyze and design existing sanitation, HVAC, and building pressure systems
• Develop short and long-term solutions to engineering problems
• Design modifications for existing facility infrastructures
• Review electrical drawings and verify electrical panel schedules
• Learn and understand plant power infrastructure and utility analysis
• Support construction projects and verify construction completeness
• Coordinate power shutdowns and assist with energy reporting
• Perform arc flash analysis and support related safety items

Requirements

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Sophomore status (by credit hour) or above
• Minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA (transcript required)
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• Availability to work a minimum of 10 weeks at 40 hours per week
• Valid U.S. Driver's License and reliable transportation to the site
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of AutoCAD or CATIA
• Completion of manufacturing-related coursework
