About the role
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and test electrical systems and components for UAS platforms
- Develop and debug microcontroller systems and circuits
- Work with mechanical and software engineers to integrate electrical systems into UAS platforms
- Develop and maintain schematics, wiring diagrams, and documentation for electrical systems
- Act as the Avionics liaison between engineering and the production line
- Address and close out non-conformances from the production line
- Develop and perform electrical tests and test procedures to verify system functionality
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality electrical systems
Requirements
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Experience diagnosing and troubleshooting circuits in UAS platforms
- Proficiency in Altium for circuit board and harness design
- Knowledge of analog and digital circuits, power supplies, and CAN bus communication
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
