Electrical Engineer V/VI

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and testing of advanced electrical systems for UAS platforms
• Oversee small-to-large-scale electrical engineering projects
• Develop and debug complex microcontroller systems, circuits, and power supply designs
• Oversee and optimize wire harness production and documentation using Altium
• Collaborate with mechanical and software engineers for system integration
• Diagnose and resolve advanced circuit issues and mentor junior engineers
• Lead electrical system integration and testing for UAS flight tests
• Ensure designs meet industry standards and maintain technical documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in electrical engineering
• 5+ years of experience in UAS or aerospace systems
• Expertise in Altium and circuit design tools
• Advanced knowledge of analog and digital circuits, power systems, and CAN bus communication
• Proven ability to address and close non-conformance issues
• Strong leadership and project management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in production environments and avionics systems
• Proven track record of leading successful UAS-related electrical projects
• Knowledge of advanced electrical testing procedures and tools
