Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Work within a multi-disciplinary engineering team to design high-performance, cost-effective global products.
• Design product electrical features and manage the dimensioning of principal assembly parts.
• Create and review essential product documentation, including drawings, specifications, and bills of materials.
• Develop design solutions for specialized products and collaborate with Controls Engineering on connection guides.
• Partner with external suppliers and global colleagues to resolve technical issues.
• Ensure all designs meet objectives for cost, quality, environmental impact, and execution time.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or a Bachelor's in Engineering with 3+ years of professional electrical design experience).
• 4+ years of experience as an Electrical Design Engineer.
• Proven experience with electrical components such as wires, contactors, VFDs, fuses, and transformers.
• 4+ years of CAD experience (Creo experience is highly desired).
• Proficiency in creating and sustaining electrical schematics.
• Strong knowledge of international electrical standards and regulations (e.g., UL, CSA, IEC, IEEE).
• Experience utilizing PLM and PDM tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with Chillers or HVAC products specifically for Data Centers.
• Familiarity with UL/CSA 60335-2-40 or UL 1995/CSA C22 standards.
