Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage tasks to improve plant reliability and performance through problem-solving
• Ensure compliance with HSEQ performance standards and national/state requirements
• Verify training of maintenance teams and contractors
• Assist in preparation of Front End Loading (FEL) phase engineering project proposals and cost estimates
• Define project deliverables, technical alternatives, and work breakdown structures
• Provide technical guidance and management for E&I engineering design
• Involve in scope definition and quality control for new equipment projects
• Plan and execute E&I equipment upgrades or modifications

Requirements

• B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering
• 4-10+ years of experience in petrochemical, power generation, or heavy industry
• Knowledge of National Electric Code (NEC), DCS, and PLC systems
• Experience with SIS design principles and industrial electrical power systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
• Skills in project scope, design, estimation, and scheduling
• Experience in project commissioning, start-up, and checkout
• Understanding of RBM and RCM maintenance strategies
• Competency in Root Cause Failure Analysis methods
