Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and build rigid and/or flex PCBAs, including schematic capture, simulation, and board layout
• Own board and system bring-up processes
• Design and execute validation testing plans for boards and systems
• Debug and triage units from the field
• Create and modify testing software for PCBAs
• Collaborate with mechanical and software teams to integrate electrical systems into robotic platforms

Requirements

• 2+ years of electrical engineering experience
• BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field
• Proven PCB design experience (schematic capture, board layout, manufacturing, and test/debug)
• Experience delivering at least one project from the prototype phase into production
• Experience with hardware validation cycles, debug, and measurement methods
• Experience with high-speed design
• Experience with wire harnesses, cabling, and connectors

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency with Altium Designer
• Experience designing complex high-speed FlexPCBs
• Familiarity with SI/PI simulation tools
• Experience using network analyzers, TDR, and spectrum analyzers
• Experience with high-speed buses such as MIPI, GMSL, DDR, or PCIe
• Experience designing motor controllers or high-power PCBs for electromechanical actuators
• Knowledge of compute architectures, mainboard design, or camera interfacing
