Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and drafting of electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, security, and low voltage systems.
• Prepare and update engineering drawings, layouts, and schedules using AutoCAD and other design software.
• Support senior engineers with technical calculations and the preparation of project documentation.
• Participate in site visits and inspections to gather data and support project delivery.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and project stakeholders to ensure integrated solutions.
• Assist in preparing bills of quantities (BOQs), technical specifications, and tender documents.
• Ensure all work complies with relevant electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in building services electrical design or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of electrical codes and standards such as NBC, IS, and IEC.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Revit or Dialux.
• Exposure to sustainable design or green building concepts.
• Experience with BIM workflows and digital collaboration tools.
