Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design analog and digital circuits including low noise analog circuits, A/D and D/A converters, microprocessors, and power supplies
• Perform design, debugging, and board bring-up of real-time embedded electronics using simulation, analysis, and prototyping
• Contribute to project architecture, schematics, and software design while supporting DVT, DQTP, EMC, and compliance testing
• Collaborate with engineering disciplines and Product Marketing to provide cost estimates and product implementation
• Design and develop consumer product electronics from initial concept through ongoing product support
• Support fielded products and perform analysis of field-reported issues

Requirements

• BS in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of related experience, or advanced degree with 3+ years of experience
• Experience in component selection, system architecture, documentation, test, and debugging
• Proficiency in analog and digital embedded design including hardware (schematic capture and PCB layout) and firmware (C and ASM)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous industry experience in consumer products or consumer goods consulting
