Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design flight electronics, wire harnesses, cables, and high-speed circuits for advanced reentry vehicle systems
• Collaborate with firmware, embedded software, mechanical, and system engineers to verify hardware designs
• Support environmental testing activities and component design qualification to meet harsh requirements
• Execute rapid system integration to incorporate cutting-edge prototypes within tight deadlines
• Demonstrate innovative design, build, and test methodologies to increase mission readiness

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline
• Five (5) years of directly relevant engineering experience
• Active DOE Q level security clearance (or equivalent active government clearance)
• U.S. citizenship

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Electrical Engineering or a highly related field
• Direct experience designing nuclear weapon electronics
• Proficiency in circuit modeling, analysis, and electronic circuit verification via simulation
• Experience with computer-aided electrical design, PCB layout, and manufacturing
• Familiarity with Mil-Std digital interface communication standards
• Knowledge of the Nuclear Weapons qualification process
