Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical discipline engineering activities for major energy and infrastructure projects in accordance with project requirements and quality standards
• Execute electrical system design reviews and identify technical queries, deviations, or alternatives during the bidding phase
• Perform electrical system calculations and studies, including power demand, load flow, short circuit, transient stability, and motor starting
• Define electrical system configurations, single line diagrams, and functional philosophies for control systems (power management, synchronization, load shedding)
• Prepare technical documentation such as specifications, data sheets, and purchase requisitions for electrical equipment
• Develop electrical system plant designs, including cable routings, grounding, and substation arrangements
• Review client technical documentation and vendor technical documentation to ensure compliance with project requirements
• Support procurement and post-order activities, including technical bid evaluations and testing

Requirements

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (or a related Electrical Engineering degree)
• 5+ years of EPC experience at an expert level in electrical engineering
• Proficiency in electrical system calculations and studies
• Experience with 2D and 3D modelling
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel skills
• Strong command of the English language
