Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical discipline engineering activities in accordance with project requirements, schedules, and quality standards
• Ensure timely and correct exchange of information with all project interfaces
• Implement Saipem operating guidelines throughout the project lifecycle
• Support the bidding phase by analyzing tender documentation and participating in electrical system design reviews
• Perform electrical system calculations and studies, including power demand, load flow, short circuit, and transient stability
• Prepare technical documentation such as specifications, data sheets, and single line diagrams
• Define functional philosophies for electrical system control, including power management and load shedding
• Develop electrical system plant designs, including cable routings, grounding, and substation arrangements
• Support fabrication and commissioning activities through field engineering expertise
• Review vendor technical documentation and provide technical support to procurement and post-order teams

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering
• Proven field engineering experience to support fabrication and commissioning activities
• Fluency in the English language
• Ability to work offshore on a vessel
