Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Supervise external electrical installation and commissioning teams during project execution
• Follow the progress of assigned commissions from start to finish, ensuring safety and quality standards are met
• Coordinate daily activities with supplier supervisors, site management, and global team members
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure projects adhere to budgets and planning parameters
• Assist with smaller projects by providing technical feedback and reviewing documentation

Requirements

• 5+ years of practical, hands-on experience as an Electrical Engineer, preferably in an industrial background
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar field
• Strong understanding of low-voltage electrical installations, including panels, motors, drives, and control systems
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, cable lists, I/O lists, and technical specifications
• Familiarity with installation testing, signal testing, loop checks, and commissioning support
• Demonstrated ability to manage third-party vendors and meet contractual obligations
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness to undergo extensive travel and relocation to Wallula, Washington

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using Siemens TIA Portal
• Basic understanding of PLCs
