Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Assist with the design, development, and testing of electrical equipment, components, and systems for custom emergency response vehicles
• Use CAD and CAE software to develop structural designs, model new designs, and produce detailed engineering drawings
• Verify designs through mathematical analysis, calculations, and other analytical techniques
• Support the creation and review of electrical material part specifications and bills of materials
• Identify problems and root causes, and assist in defining and executing resolutions
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to apply DFM methodologies and ensure robust engineering packages
• Execute engineering changes through established documentation processes

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent education
• 0-2 years of related experience
• Proficiency with CAD and CAE software
• Experience with mathematical analysis, modeling, and engineering principles
• Knowledge of problem-solving techniques such as 5 Why and root cause analysis
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook)
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and layouts
