Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Assist with the design, development, and testing of electrical equipment, components, and systems for ambulance manufacturing.
• Use CAD/CAE software to develop structural designs, model new designs, and produce detailed engineering drawings.
• Verify designs through mathematical analysis, modeling, and other analytical techniques.
• Identify problems and root causes using techniques such as 5 Why and root cause analysis to define and execute resolutions.
• Support the creation and review of electrical material part specifications and bills of materials.
• Define test requirements and interpret results to validate product designs and process validation plans.
• Apply DFM (Design for Manufacturing) methodologies to ensure robust engineering packages and manufacturing productivity.
• Execute engineering changes through established documentation processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent education.
• 0-2 years of related experience.
• Proficiency with CAD/CAE software.
• Experience with mathematical analysis, modeling, and statistical techniques for data analysis.
• Knowledge of problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 5 Why, root cause analysis).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook).
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and layouts.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with production employees and leadership.
