Reflex Robotics is building affordable wheeled humanoid robots to automate dangerous and repetitive tasks in manufacturing and logistics. Backed by Khosla Ventures, we are a high-performance robotics startup focused on creating a powerful human-intervention and RL product feedback loop to build the world's largest robotics dataset.
Responsibilities
- Take design, layout, testing, and deployment of electronics on the Reflex robot
- Operate with high ownership in a small, fast-moving team
- Manage designs from prototype through production, including DFM and supply chain considerations
- Make independent design decisions and extract requirements in ambiguous environments
- Balance system-level tradeoffs involving firmware, mechanical constraints, and cost
Requirements
- BS or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Generalist expertise in motor inverter design, power electronics, sensors, analog circuits, and communications (Ethernet, CAN, SPI, I2C, GMSL, MIPI-CSI, RS-485)
- Proficiency in Altium for schematic capture and PCB layout
- Strong board bring-up, test, and debug skills using scopes and power supplies
- Experience with DFM and production-ready design
Preferred Qualifications
- Firmware development (C/C++, RTOS)
- High-speed digital design (DDR4, PCIe, MIPI)
- Motherboard design with integrated CPU/GPU
- Robotics experience
- RF design
- Simulation tools (LTspice, PSpice)
