Electrical Engineer R&D

Responsibilities

• Calculate, dimension, and select motors ranging from 100 kW to 5000 kW for development projects and standard products
• Maintain and develop the motor database, including creating new motor entries in the ERP system
• Calculate, dimension, and select variable speed drives (VSD) within the same power range
• Design and draw electrical systems and panels, including the selection of components, heaters, and sensors
• Plan and develop test specifications and analyze test data at the in-house test center
• Support customers and service technicians with technical challenges on active installations
• Advise sales teams regarding the selection of main components and electrical solutions for new projects

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Technology, or a related field
• Experience with electrical design, component selection, and technical dimensioning
• Knowledge of motor selection and power technology
• Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to complex technical tasks
• Ability to communicate technical knowledge clearly and work effectively across functions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with frequency converters (VSD)
• Previous experience working in an environment that integrates development, production, and testing
