About the Company

Fluidstack is focused on delivering massive-scale compute infrastructure for AI. The company acquires power, designs and builds data centers, and operates them with teams spanning hardware and software to accelerate the deployment of frontier compute.

Responsibilities

  • Define reference architecture for on-site and supplemental power generation and distribution
  • Design and deliver temporary power and mobile substation solutions to energize facilities ahead of permanent utility infrastructure
  • Lead electrical design and integration of renewables (solar/wind) and BESS into campus MV systems
  • Evaluate and adopt new power technologies such as fuel cells and microgrid controllers
  • Serve as a technical escalation point for on-site power availability and performance issues
  • Standardize design packages and operational procedures to ensure repeatable quality

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Energy, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in power systems, generation, or distribution engineering
  • Experience with temporary power, mobile substations, or generator farms
  • Experience designing or integrating renewables power distribution
  • Strong knowledge of MV distribution equipment including transformers, switchgear, and generators
  • Proficiency in power system studies such as load flow, short circuit, and arc flash

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • Experience with data center supplemental power design and commissioning
  • Experience with BESS, fuel cells, and microgrid controllers
  • Familiarity with ISO/RTO interconnection and NERC/FERC requirements
