Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop electronic system solutions for nuclear medical devices including light detection sensors and high-speed networking
• Develop and optimize VHDL modules for real-time high-speed data acquisition
• Implement high-throughput DSP algorithms for pulse processing and gamma-ray event detection
• Develop application firmware for SoC such as Xilinx Zynq
• Design and execute unit and component tests in simulation environments
• Perform multilayer PCB design and development for EMC
• Assemble, test, and troubleshoot parts and final products in laboratory settings
• Manage cable harness and routing for electro-magnetic compatibility
• Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers
• Maintain technical design and documentation in accordance with medical device regulations (IEC 60601-1, ISO 13485, IEC 62304)

Requirements

• Experience in electronic circuit and system design
• Proficiency with laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analyzers
• Knowledge of VHDL and FPGA data acquisition
• Experience with multilayer PCB design

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience
• Master degree or higher
• Experience in a regulated industry
