Electrical Engineer, Physicist or Engineer for Electro-Optical Sensor Production Support

Responsibilities

• Provide production support for complex electro-optical sensor assemblies used in missile systems
• Support ongoing production by troubleshooting error patterns and developing technical solutions and improvements
• Develop and advance measurement equipment and procedures for testing and calibrating electro-optical sensors and assemblies, including both hardware and software
• Plan and execute the commissioning and testing of assemblies and write technical specifications
• Identify, test, and evaluate sensor technologies within the framework of R&D projects in collaboration with other departments

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable field of study
• Strong fundamental understanding of physical and technical principles
• Professional experience in a manufacturing environment, specifically in sensor technology, electronics, semiconductor physics, or optics
• Knowledge of creating and implementing mathematical-physical models for design and performance evaluation
• Experience in developing measurement equipment and implementing (semi-)automated testing and evaluation processes
• Analytical working style and goal-oriented, structured approach
• Proficiency in English and strong communication and presentation skills
