Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, prototype, and test new human interface devices, controllers, and sensor systems
• Support embedded hardware and firmware development efforts
• Assist in integrating devices with networking systems, mobile applications, and Linux-based environments
• Maintain engineering drawings, schematics, test plans, and technical documentation
• Troubleshoot customer issues related to hardware, firmware, or system-level operation
• Perform root-cause analysis on failures and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve problems

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field
• 0–3 years of engineering experience, including internships or co-ops
• Knowledge of or interest in embedded systems, networking, Linux, and mobile connectivity
• Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset
• Willingness to relocate to Connecticut
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout
• Familiarity with microcontrollers and embedded C/C++ or Python
• Knowledge of sensors, signal conditioning, and communication protocols (I²C, SPI, UART, CAN, Ethernet)
• Experience using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multimeters
• Exposure to Git, Jira, or similar development tools
