About the Company
Fluidstack is focused on delivering gigawatt-scale compute infrastructure for AI. The company acquires power, designs and builds data centers, and operates them through integrated hardware and software teams.
Responsibilities
- Own electrical design of modular and prefabricated power infrastructure for data centers, including switchgear skids and modular electrical rooms
- Apply design-for-manufacturability principles such as standardization, tolerances, and factory workflows
- Develop and maintain standard designs, specifications, and configuration control for the modular product line
- Support site integration and commissioning of modular solutions and feed field findings back into product revisions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- 7+ years of electrical engineering experience in data center or mission-critical facilities
- Strong background designing modular electrical solutions like e-houses, skids, or packaged power equipment
- Solid working knowledge of the data center power chain (MV/LV distribution, switchgear, transformers, UPS, generators, ATS, and Busway)
- Demonstrated design-for-manufacturability experience for factory production
- Experience working with equipment manufacturers on design reviews and factory acceptance testing
Preferred Qualifications
- BIM/VDC proficiency (Revit, Navisworks, clash detection)
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Experience at a hyperscale data center operator or modular infrastructure manufacturer
- Exposure to quality systems and production engineering (ITPs, first-article inspection, NCR processes)
