Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Create designs for low voltage and medium voltage electrical switchgear assemblies, systems, and replacement breakers
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers, production, purchasing, and vendors to develop drawings, submittals, and BOM packages
• Work with QA and Testing Teams to develop and review testing plans
• Follow and develop standard design processes and documentation to improve quality and efficiency
• Support project management, production, and sales departments
• Resolve production issues through hands-on collaboration with the production team

Requirements

• 4-year bachelor’s degree in engineering
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance
• Strong communication and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• EIT (Engineer in Training) Certificate
• 1-3 years of design experience in switchgear, control circuits, UL891, and UL1558
• Experience in generator and automation controls (PLC/HMI knowledge of Rockwell, Siemens, or Woodward)
• Experience with REVIT and Inventor
