Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Research, design, and evaluate electrical systems, products, and components using fundamental engineering principles
• Apply expertise in RF, power, AC/DC circuitry, communications, and software principles to complex systems
• Design testing methods to confirm system capabilities and ensure product quality
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to power, circuitry, and communications
• Evaluate field installations and recommend design modifications to eliminate malfunctions
• Author engineering documentation, including drawings, project specifications, and procedures
• Coordinate with management and customers for design reviews and testing events

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related scientific/technical discipline
• 7+ years of relevant experience in electrical engineering
• US Citizenship
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance
• Experience designing, developing, building, and verifying printed circuit boards (PCBs)
• Proficiency with modeling and simulation tools such as MATLAB/Simulink or LabVIEW

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• 10+ years of relevant electrical engineering experience
• Experience with High-Energy Lasers (HEL), directed energy, or precision pointing systems
• Background in real-time systems, embedded software, or FPGA-based control
• Understanding of electro-optical systems, thermal management, or power storage systems
• Knowledge of DoD systems engineering processes and military specifications
