Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Read, understand, and implement client specifications as well as local and international standards
• Prepare technical specifications and datasheets for electrical items with minimal supervision
• Provide inputs to designers for electrical layouts and verify the accuracy of their work
• Prepare load lists, load calculations, cable sizing, earthing, and lighting calculations
• Develop cable schedules and interconnection diagrams
• Implement relevant HSE aspects while performing all assigned engineering tasks

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering
• 4 to 10 years of related engineering experience
• Ability to read and understand overall power distribution schemes and Single Line Diagrams (SLDs)
• Strong knowledge of electrical equipment including MV/LV Switchgears, transformers, and UPS
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, and Word)
• Good written and oral communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a multi-cultural environment
• Practical working experience with ETAP or SPEL software
