Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed electrical engineering and design activities for Oil & Gas EPC projects.
• Prepare and verify engineering deliverables including calculations, specifications, data sheets, and design reports.
• Develop single line diagrams (SLDs), load lists, load flow studies, and cable sizing calculations.
• Prepare equipment specifications for transformers, switchgear, MCCs, UPS systems, and generators.
• Coordinate with procurement teams during technical bid evaluations and vendor document reviews.
• Interface with multidisciplinary teams including Mechanical, Instrumentation, Civil, and Process disciplines.
• Ensure all designs comply with ADNOC standards, international codes (IEC, IEEE, NFPA), and client requirements.
• Provide engineering support during procurement, construction, commissioning, and project close-out.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in Electrical Engineering within the Oil & Gas and EPC industry.
• Mandatory ADNOC project experience and valid ADNOC approval.
• Proficiency in electrical engineering software such as ETAP or SKM Power Tools.
• Strong knowledge of power generation and distribution systems within Oil & Gas facilities.
• Proven track record in detailed engineering for large-scale onshore or offshore projects.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on both greenfield and brownfield developments.
• Familiarity with ADNOC engineering procedures, specifications, and approval processes.
• Professional registration or relevant engineering certifications.
• Experience supporting pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
