Electrical Engineer Intern

We design, build, and operate the world’s largest autonomous logistics system, delivering critical supplies quickly and reliably.

Responsibilities

• Work on high-impact projects as a full member of the electrical engineering team
• Prototype new versions of battery charging electronics for harsh environments
• Architect ground support electronics for air vehicle take-off and landing
• Develop and deploy test equipment such as EOLs for design validation and production
• Support design validation campaigns for avionics products
• Conduct root cause investigations for products from test, flight, or field issues

Requirements

• Completed at least the second year of Undergraduate studies (Masters and PhD students eligible)
• Experience designing and testing a custom circuit board
• Experience with a project that moved under its own power (e.g., plane, car, quadcopter, rover)
• Experience collaborating on technical projects within a group setting
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior exposure to robotics systems, automation, or sensor data
• Exposure to object-oriented programming such as C++ or Java
• Familiarity with cloud services like AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Familiarity with big data tools like Spark or Hadoop
