Electrical Engineer Intern

Responsibilities

• Own challenging electrical design projects in industrial automation and robotics
• Design and build industrial control cabinets, cables, and harnesses
• Document design concepts, trade studies, test procedures, and assembly instructions
• Select electrical components such as cables, power supplies, PLCs, and sensors
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design robust electrical systems
• Test new designs on the bench and in-system to ensure function and performance

Requirements

• Pursuing a BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Hands-on aptitude to troubleshoot across multiple engineering disciplines
• Experience with lab equipment including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power supplies, and soldering tools
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Passion for electrical engineering and quality design

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing robotic equipment and motor control systems
• Experience with Altium Designer
• Familiarity with UL, ISO, and IEC standards
• Desire to work in a fast-paced startup environment
