About the role

Responsibilities

  • Support development of utility and electrical system specifications for new installations, upgrades, and modifications
  • Review electrical construction drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with site requirements, GMP standards, and industry codes
  • Provide technical support for troubleshooting and root cause investigations (RCFA) to resolve equipment and system failures
  • Support preventive and predictive maintenance program improvements to enhance equipment reliability
  • Assist in reliability assessments including data collection, FMEA, and FTA
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external contractors on construction, renovation, and capital improvement projects
  • Perform field activities including data collection, one-line drawing updates, and electrical system analysis

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in electrical engineering
  • 4+ years of experience in facilities, utilities, manufacturing, or a related engineering environment
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical one-line diagrams, schematics, and construction drawings
  • Must be able to work onsite full-time at the Norwood, MA campus
  • Must hold valid US work authorization without the need for future sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting electrical systems in GMP-regulated pharmaceutical or biotechnology environments
  • Working knowledge of industry standards such as ISPE Baseline Guides, USP, EU GMP, ISO standards, and applicable CFRs
  • Familiarity with reliability engineering principles and maintenance optimization strategies
  • Experience supporting root cause analysis, FMEA, or other structured problem-solving methodologies
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work cross-functionally with operations and project teams
