About the role
Responsibilities
- Support development of utility and electrical system specifications for new installations, upgrades, and modifications
- Review electrical construction drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with site requirements, GMP standards, and industry codes
- Provide technical support for troubleshooting and root cause investigations (RCFA) to resolve equipment and system failures
- Support preventive and predictive maintenance program improvements to enhance equipment reliability
- Assist in reliability assessments including data collection, FMEA, and FTA
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external contractors on construction, renovation, and capital improvement projects
- Perform field activities including data collection, one-line drawing updates, and electrical system analysis
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in electrical engineering
- 4+ years of experience in facilities, utilities, manufacturing, or a related engineering environment
- Ability to read and interpret electrical one-line diagrams, schematics, and construction drawings
- Must be able to work onsite full-time at the Norwood, MA campus
- Must hold valid US work authorization without the need for future sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting electrical systems in GMP-regulated pharmaceutical or biotechnology environments
- Working knowledge of industry standards such as ISPE Baseline Guides, USP, EU GMP, ISO standards, and applicable CFRs
- Familiarity with reliability engineering principles and maintenance optimization strategies
- Experience supporting root cause analysis, FMEA, or other structured problem-solving methodologies
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work cross-functionally with operations and project teams
